I've always wanted to meet people from all over the world, preferably from travelling, and understand various cultures. I also love trying different local cuisine and I think food is one, if not the best, of the best ways to immerse myself in the local community. I think CouchSurfing greatly bridges the gap between tourists and locals as it offers a direct interaction between the two, which enables the first-hand experience of the local culture and general way of life. Plus, I really think it's cool and fun.
