Moving forward, seeing new places, and meeting new people. I avoid being in my "comfort zone" for too long at a time. I can always do that later.

I always have a smile on my face, and a deep desire to learn about others and their lives.

PHILOSOPHY

I went through what I consider a quarter life crisis in 2013, and that has completely altered my perspective on life. My priorities have changed, and I am everyday trying to be more of a free spirit, shedding levels of materialism, judgement, and complacency. I want to see what's out in the world, and I don't want to regret anything, and so far it's working. I've never been happier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live three hours outside of Tokyo, so if someone was willing to come out here, I'd be happy to host, but it's far and there is not much around. I do participate as a social butterfly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started surfing in Turkey, then Singapore, and now hopefully Japan. It has been an amazing experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a volcano in Guatemala. Biked across the Golden Gate Bridge. Spent four days at a beach with no other plans but to eat, sleep, and swim. Made a best friend from across the globe. Climbed a glacier in New Zealand. Bungeed and skydived. Floated a river in Central Texas. Played black jack in Vegas. Had raki/balik on the Agean. Hitchhiked and Couchsurfed for 10 days through out Turkey. Climbed Mt. Fuji!!!! And I'm most proud of up-rooting myself to live in different countries to learn from and embrace different lifestyles.
