Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live fully awake in the moment, to breathe into the hard times, and to live & love with integrity and courage
ABOUT ME
Snapshot of me: open, avid learner, thoughtful, passionate, communicative
For 6 months this past year, I worked long-distance for a naturopathic doctor who provides support to women with cancer from around the world. I organized & facilitated retreats, assisted women in getting the necessary documents to get labs run, did website development, and also wrote blog entries & newsletters as needed.
I also assist in writing blog entries for an herbal company and do business consulting for a nutraceutical company. For fun, I am a contributing writer & editor for an online group called "Female & Fungi," a site that explores women's role in the filed of mycology (study of fungi a.k.a. mushrooms).
I have lived in Durango, Colorado for the past 6 years and the past year I have spent traveling to different conferences, retreats and other events for work.
I would describe myself as an autodidact and have constantly fluctuating interests, though thematically similar- usually around social justice, health, and quality of life arenas.
I enjoy cooking and eating good food, being outside, taking long walks, and making things with my hands.
PHILOSOPHY
