About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see the world and reach out to others. Learn everyday and make the most out of it. Grow each and everyday.

ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet new people and learn through them? Im a loyal and true friend. I know my friends would say that im honest and true to my word. Im health conscious, love to cook, love nature and ipn general i am very active. I am open minded about other cultures and ways of life. I think that one of the healthiest thigns to do is to travel and learn about other areas. I find grounding, peace and my sense of spirituality in nature. Im always up for a new adventure and often makes plans for them.

I believe that I appear reserved and shy, but thats just the way that I present myself at first. I dont have many, many friends as true friends are hard to come by, but the friends I do have would say that Im extremely trustworthy and a true person that they can count on.

PHILOSOPHY

I am happy to literally be a living conscious human being everyday. I never take a day for granted. Im blessed with being able to live in this day in age that we currently are experiencing on this planet. Its a very different time in humanity, the World and on the earth than ever before.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am always up for a new adventure. Couchsurfing is not a website to be used by someone who wants just a place to stay.Couchsurfing is all about meeting others, the locals and crosscultural exchange. The interaction, making freiendships and cross cultural exchange are priceless. I personally did not know much about couchsurfing before the big european trip that I am currently on. Couchsurfing has changed my trip and my life. Ive met so many amazing people. I ve been so gratful to have had these interactions ans also to experience such trusting hospitality. Im so glad that I did couchsurfing and I am looking forward to repaying the karma and hosting as soon as I get back and settled in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As of the time of this writing I have had the pleasure of being hosted by about 8 people on my european trip. I have also done similar exchange through another website for cyclists called warmshowers.org. It is changed my outlook, trip and life for the better of course. It ha all been extremely positive.

Interests

I am very intrigued with the world in many ways. I am always trying to learn about other cultures and ways of life. I love to travel and when I travel it is important for me to have both an active portion and also a cultural city experience; I try to travel to places where I can incorporate a balanced experience. I love to meet the locals, thus I tend not to do much "touristy" attractions and tours when I travel, but I do a few because of all of the information they contain. I like to set myself in a area for at least 5 days to get good feel for the area.

I love to bike, hike, backpack photograph and cycle. I also enjoy dancing and watching dance performances because i feel that it is such a dynamic way to express energy.

Perhaps the best thing for me after I have been away for a while is seeing good friends and of course family.

I am always trying to learn or go do something new. I find it important to try not to get stuck into a routine.

I prefer a home cooked meal to fast food and I am very happy to cook for my hosts if their schedule and time allows. I miss my kitchen whike traveling. I love to cook with fresh organic ingredients whenever possible.

I like any positive music in general, but dislike nonrhythmic heavy metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many to say and hard to pick three, but I have one in Costa Rica and one recently in north cost of California that I live in now.

In Costa Rica, I backpacked 8 miles into the jungle with a group. We climbed down to the bottom of a waterfall and after a period of time in the river, myself and another member of the group decided to take easier way back. Im glad we did because we got to see both a toucan and a group of wild monkeys. This momenet was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

I just came back to the north coast of california last week after being in the bay area for 6 months (San Francisco area). I was so happy to have come back to the area because of its beauty. It is rather isolated so that is part of the reason why I decided to leave for awhile. I climbed to the top of a peak where you could look and see the trinity alps, the redwood trees and the entire coastline for miles. We happened to see a bluewhale in the ocean at this particular moment which was amazing because I have never seen one before. I lloked around just so happy to have two of my best friends there to share it with me. Sharing this experience with dear friends dosen't get much better!

Teach, Learn, Share

Honestly im super flexible and really enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds.
