About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find the hidden beauty

ABOUT ME

Back in Italy after some years spent abroad, mostly in Germany. I like to connect the dots of the world around me. I try to step aside and look at things from different angles. Sometimes I fail, but it is good to try. I like to listen, and observe. I like to spend adventures with people, from really simple moments, like a coffee or a "spritz" together, to a more engaged time. I collect ideas, and slowly try to find their place. I try to put work and interests together, and find the synergy between them. If you are curious, and wish to explore what is hidden behind a few words, get in touch.

PHILOSOPHY

Smile comes first. I grew up smiling at people, first as a shy reaction to what was around me, then as a way to infect people with joy and create the right environment. People and situations can be really different and many times we don't know how to cope with that. But if we start by opening our senses to a real exchange, we get rich. I try to weaken the barriers among us to benefit from what is behind those artificial walls.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I join some couchsurfing events. I have hosted and have been hosted a few times. At the moment I have a small couch in the place I am living where you could stop over for one or two nights. I cannot host often, but if you read my profile until this point, and I realize it, you might have a chance. Besides hosting, if you are interested in hanging out in Padova or surroundings you can write me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have explored Couchsurfing in the last years, surfed and hosted a little and met outside the most times. Couchsurfing teaches you how to share time with people you have never seen before. I would like to keep giving back what I have received.

Interests

Reading a bit of everything. Long personal conversations. Photography. Basketball. Sustainable renewable energy. Degrowth. I find inspiration when dealing with different people and listening to new viewpoints and ideas. I am seeking my lost creativity.

A single man, Forrest Gump, La vita è bella, movies by Linklater (Waking Life, Before sunset), Woody Allen; short movies and documentaries

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trip to Spain with a huge van and a couple of friends. Watch the sea at sunrise. Melt in front of the spontaneity of children. Organization of a workshop on Sustainability. Team working with people from all over the World. I shared a garden with friends for some years and managed to grow some food.

Teach, Learn, Share

Democratization of Energy using Renewable Energy, Degrowth, a big smile, some cooking. I like to listen and give something back.
