About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Should I stay or should I go now?
ABOUT ME
Oh geez...ALL about me? Sensitive, quirky, serious, goofy. I love when things are organized (that's the German in me). I love gardens and trees and running water...oh yeah, and the sun. I am nourished by nature. I mostly love to feel inspired. I most often feel inspired by music, by dancing and using my voice, and by connecting deeply with others.
PHILOSOPHY
Practice compassion. Risk what you think you need. Create your most passionate dreams.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf people's couches, or spare beds, and I share with them in whatever way feels inspired by the comingling of our particular spirits. I have yet to host anyone as I am new to CS.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing connection in Berkeley...a chance run-in with a friend-of-a-friend whom I had just met at Burning Man. Brilliant twist of fate. This was my first and only couchsurfing experience!
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything that inspires me. Anything that changes me or causes a revelation in my mind and heart. Osho, Eckhart Tolle, Father Thomas Keating, Tom Robbins, EE Cummings. Tori Amos, Sarah Mclachlan, Bjork, Fiona Apple, David Gray, reggae, dance hall, good hip hop, Saul Williams, Balinese Gamelan, world rhythms, Indian, Middle Eastern. Chanting. Praise.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So much. I've watched my mother wake up from a 2-month coma induced by a 20-minute lack of oxygen. Her heart stopped inexplicably one day 12 years ago. During the coma, she suffered extensive brain damage due to anoxia, and when she awoke, a whole new adventure awaited. She had forgotten how to speak, read, write, tie her shoes, etc. She did not recognize us the way you would recognize your family if you took a nap and then woke up. This has probably been the most jarring and intensely surreal event of my life. Its mystery continues to unfold.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach/Share: emotional and body awareness, handstands, compassionate listening, witnessing, rebirthing, peaceful birthing, sprouting quinoa, poetry, song-writing, authentic movement, dance, figure drawing, drawing photo-realistic portraits, and so much more.
Learn: knot-tying, passive income, languages, foreign traveling, fearlessness, fashion and costuming, gardening, sustainable living, anything ingenious and innovative, or just anything that strikes my fancy.
