About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world. Meet great people. Seize every opportunity. Live life to the fullest.
ABOUT ME
In 2012, I was an au pair in Aarhus, Denmark. It was a year like no other, to say the least. New experiences and adventures. For the first time I was able to travel on my own and I got to learn so much about the world and myself.
Now I'm back in Brazil, finishing my undergraduate studies and working as a translator, English teacher and assistant coordinator. I'm crazy busy during the week, but would love to give back to the couchsurfing community somehow. I was able to travel and meet amazing people through it and now it's my turn to give back and help out those surfers in need. So, for now, I'm going to try hosting people on the weekends. If you'd like me to host you, just send me a request and we'll see if things work out!
I'm very easygoing, I always have a smile on my face and love a good laugh.
PHILOSOPHY
Look at the positives and learn from every experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surfed a lot last year, but nowadays I go to events, meetings (I have also organized some before) and host or hang out with travellers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed, been to meetings and events and have loved every minute of my CS experience. I've met some amazing people through the community and am very thankful for that. When I go back to Brazil I hope to help out travellers by hosting or showing them around my hometown.
Interests
I adore my family and spending time with them. I love traveling, going to the beach and being in the sun. I love to eat and love to cook. I like walking to places and reading outside. I love movies, music and dancing, hanging out with friends, playing with my dog, and taking naps (although I rarely have time to,) laughing and smiling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I love brazilian music (mpb), rock, hip-hop, pop, r&b, some country and some electropop. If I could, I'd listen to music all day, everywhere. If you send me a couch request, tell me your favorite song/artist of the moment. You are much more likely to get a yes if you do. =)
Movie - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, if you haven't seen it yet, you are missing out! It's an amazing movie.
Books - I'm still looking for my favorite, but some authors that I love (in no particular order) are: Machado de Assis, J. K. Rowling, José Saramago, Lewis Carroll, David Foster Wallace, Dr. Seuss, David Sedaris, George Orwell and Harper Lee.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the sunset in Venice while going around in the canals. I actually cried, can you believe it? Hehe
Seeing snow for the first time in Denmark. Technically I had seen it before in Japan, but I was only three at the time and have no memory of it.
Couchsurfing! Seriously, I have met some incredible people through it and got to share in some of my greatest experiences with complete strangers. Amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like learning about other people's experiences not only in traveling but in their lives, everyone has an interesting story to share.
