About Me
ABOUT ME
I am adventurous, I love to travel and meet new people from all walks of life. I have a passion for all things culinary and my favorite place to visit when I first arrive in a country is the local grocery store. I am easygoing and my idea of a wonderful evening is sharing a good meal with good friends (or new friends) and good conversation. I am addicted to useless trivia, will never refuse live music of any kind and am always up for trying something new. I am independent and understand that my hosts will often be busy with other commitments. I am more than happy to go out and discover a new place on my own. I am always grateful for a place to stay!

Interests
I love getting to know people from other cultures and backgrounds. I am fascinated by foreign traditions and languages and can stay up all night talking about these subjects. I am by nature a very curious person. My idea of bliss is traveling with someone I love and discovering a new place together with lots of room for spontaneity. The best part of traveling for me is seeing a place through the eyes of locals. Fancy hotels are not for me. The most exciting and memorable trips I have ever been on involved sleeping under the stars or under the roof of a dear host. Things that make me happy: hiking, biking, reading, cooking, the smell of cookies in the oven, documentaries, and the podcast Radiolab.
