About Me

Hi!! My name is Andrea Claus but you can call me breadgirl; yes i LOVE bread (and wine)but;those are not the only things I love haha! For starters,I love living and absorbing all sorts of new things on a daily basis.

I am really passionate about the things that I like (and the things that i don't) that's something you'll notice as soon as you speak with me! Also, if your intentions go beyond friendship, there are plenty of apps for that, this is not tinder y'all :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From an early age I figured that traveling was one of the most genuine ways of learning; learning about other countries, culture, their people, and about yourself. Traveling is indeed discovering. I started traveling with my my family but shortly, mainly for the costs but also for my parents constant promotion of being independent, i started saving and traveling on my own.
I decided to join couchsurfing principally for two reasons; getting to know new people more importantly locals is a great way to discover a new place, you get to exchange experiences in a genuine way. Not only this but you get the insights from locals, you experience as a local and you get the purest taste of the place youre visiting (security advice is also a plus!)Moreover, as a young student traveling is planned under a tight budget!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one of the most amazing and gratifying things ive done so far is being able to invite my two best friends (yes! my mom and my sister) to Asia, where im studying and traveling with them for two weeks. It is not easy to save up when being a student but i managed to do it and sharing that experience with them on a place that is totally different from where we come from has been one of the most satisfying things ive done so far.
Oh and learning to make bread!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and baking so i'd be glad to share, teach and learn from and with whoever i meet!!
I believe that life is about learning, taking the best out of your daily experiences.
By traveling and living in other countries Ive been able to learn about different cultures and as a result my values, tolerance and patience have grown ! and for that im thankful.
