About Me

I just graduated college with a degree in environmental studies and french. I am not quite sure what I want to do with that so I want to travel and have fun until I figure it out. I work as a barista in a neighborhood near me. I absolutely love good coffee! I love trying coffee from every place I go to.

I studied abroad a semester in Rabat, Morocco and am in love with Morocco. While I was there I traveled throughout the country and in Europe. Since then I have had the urge to continue exploring.

I will be in South America most of June so I can accept surfers July onward.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted couch surfers in the past before I've made this account through my roommate and thoroughly enjoyed it. Like most people here I want to travel a lot and meet people that have the traveling bone. I just graduated college in the states so I am as free as a bird and want to take advantage of that before life and student debt tie me down. I will be out of the country most of June but will be free to take in surfers in July onward.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste range from indie pop yo classic rock to some Latin flavor. I like hearing mix tapes so please feel free to share some of your fave music with me.

I enjoy reading creative and corky works. I also love reading critical thinking. Vonnegut and Mignolo are two of my faves.

I like scary movies. Ask me why and I couldn't tell you. I dislike romantic comedies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Road trip from DC to San Diego

Teach, Learn, Share

I am fluent in Spanish and can speak French well (after a couple of beers or wine glasses). I am happy to speak to surfers in any of those languages if it helps out. I would love to start studying Arabic again.

I have great recommendation for places to eat and drink and hangout in the city!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't offer cooking because I lack those skills and I am travelling to eat delicious food other people make. I am totally able to do things on my own if need be, but also love doing things with locals- I'm flexible and I can be either of the two above.
