ABOUT ME

***BACK IN LISBON****

I am a 33 years old young man from Portugal. Lived in Lisbon all my life, worked three years as a creative copywriter on a advertising agency and quitted my job in the end of 2010 to follow my will to travel with no boundaries and meet the world. I have started in the 8th of january of 2011 and I have been in Edinburgh/London/Bristol/Lithuania/Latvia/Estonia/Poland/Slovakia/Hungary/Serbia/Montenegro/Bulgaria/Turkey/France/Corsica...Then in the american continent I passed by Brazil (Rio de Janeiro/Paraty/Sao Paulo), Bolivia/Peru/Canada/Mexico...and then I flew to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (money mission) then back to México and continue hitchhiking south to Ushuaia.
It's hard to talk about my personal features but I really like myself.. :P

Oh, one thing I can say about myself is: I suck at writing couchrequests. Specially in this new format. Never know what to say (which is weird for someone who likes to write..)

PHILOSOPHY

Everything is an exception. Everything is exceptional. (tudo é excepcao. Tudo é excepcional.)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now just surfing and almost always with last minute couch request´s, due to my decision to not plan things in advance and due to the fact that I am hitchhiking most of the time. I prefer to let the travel flow naturally and see what life shows me.
On the rare moments that I pass by my house in Lisbon I always host foreign friends that I meet in my travel (but it's not via cs anymore)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started in Riga in the middle of May and never looked back. 3 days in Riga, 4 days in Cesis (in two different couches), 2 days in Gulbene, 3 days in Tartu, Vilnius, Warsaw, Lublin, Eger, Belgrad, Sofia, Istanbul, Munich, Strasbourg, Dijon,Santa Cruz de La Sierra, La Paz,Lima, México (all over the country), a potluck in saudi arabia etc....

Travelling, living, talking, laughing, drinking (and smoking), searching and finding (and sometimes not finding), music and words, speaking and being quiet,feeling and loving. Basically: Being.

Quit a nice job that I really liked to do a thing that I like even more - to travel with no returning date, and experience something really close to pure freedom.
