About Me

I am passionate about life. I love to get inspired. I love to go out and meet people or see art and listen to music.

Some would say, I travel a lot - my work keeps me moving as well and I love it, that often it has taken me to amazing places, given me the possibility to travel. I am endlessly grateful for it.
I love to meet people & enjoy life. Have a good laugh and conversation over a dinner, beer or glass of red wine. ;)

I believe that the most important of life is love in all its forms - which means as well respect for others and the planet we live on, respect for the nature we are part of.
After some occupation with buddhism as well as research and work around consciousness, my awareness around the fact that all believes - no matter if conventionally valued as good or bad - are basically human concepts has crucially grown... at times, the real challenge and virtue is to be able to step out of this dualism, to take a step back and be with whatever unfolds in a compassionate way.

My work & one of my biggest passions is dance, movement - which is as well closely related to music. As well other arts inspire what I do and my life. well, it is all related, as it is with things in life ;-)
I love multi-disciplinary work and do work with video and installation.
Besides, I've done various collaborative projects with scientific researchers.

Going with the spirit of the time, there are some online platforms that show what I do professionally :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

WHY?

.....if people from all over the world meet and connect, spend a beautiful moment together, have a nice conversation, that's wonderful.
What we need more and more nowadays - in a world that gets so divided over so many things - connection and understanding and support of and respect for each other.

Still, if I can't host, I love to meet up for a coffee or drink, if possible or give advice, if someone should have a question.... there are some interesting places to go to in this city, a great music scene, almost every night performances ... and you have beautiful cafes all over the city - of which some offer the best cakes ever (trust me, I tested lots of them ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Out of my living situation I couldn't host so often - though met people over couchsurfing that came to Holland.

.....as surfer: I've always had great experiences so far... to meet and stay with people on bigger and smaller trips always enriched the time I spent in a place.

Interests

interested in so many things... ;-)

dance, literature, music, people, design, art, good delicious food and wine, photography and good movies,

OUTDOOR TIME and mountains or the ocean.... I love being in rough elements.
as well as on the beach. I love heat and hot temperatures..... and do also enjoy fresh, clean mountain air.
I love wild camping or trips in camper vans.

the surrealist & magic side of life ;-) being open for synchronicity and glorious coincidences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

amazing moments I have experienced or I was a part of were often linked to performing / performances... or travel and especially in nature. mostly they came in form of surprises or were moments when I did something that took me beyond what I thought was possible.... or faced with some awe-inspiring panoramas.

yes, many times awestruck by nature - it's beauty and power. One amazing thing was to cross the Pyrenees by myself and recently yo do a ‘little’ 5250m high ‘peak’ in the Himalayas.

once I sat on top of a cliff... it was round, one connecting path went along to it... and there was just one little round space on top that gave enough place to sit down.
I had to climb up... and then I was there. alone with the elements. up high, beneath the mexican sky. the ocean throwing waves against the rocks and gusts of water reaching till high up beside me....
one of the most impressive moments ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

Most of all, I can share the way I see things & life ...and my stories.
i can give advice and support. .... and, if posssible, share a good dinner and a chat over a glass of wine or beer or a cup of tea or coffee. ;-)
