Having lived, studied, and traveled in various countries, my most memorable times have been with locals or others immersed in the culture, so I prefer to have a local experience when traveling and Couchsurfing is perfect for that!

I also understand that while traveling it is great to have a free place to stay, so I enjoy hosting as well, while giving my guests suggestions of places/things to explore on their own.
