About Me
Hi everyone, I'm Andrea, funny and chilled southern Italian guy. I'm working as a chef in Berlin, the city where I live after having lived for 6 years in Milan and 5 in Bologna. I'm from the south of Italy, Puglia, so I'm addicted to sea, summer and seasonal food. I didn't use couchsurfing for a while due to working but here in Berlin I've a lot more free time than in Italy so I'm able to host and spend more time with people. Feel free to write for whatever reason. Auf Wiedersehen
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The most is important is to meet local people, to listen from them how is it to really to live in that specific place and going around with them, no better way to discover and learn. I've traveled, not a lot, but in Europe I've traveled quite a bit, especially alone. In the beginning I was staying in hotel during my trips, so unfortunately sometimes I didn't have the chance to meet local people and it felt like something was missing. I want to recover the time lost with Couchsurfing and unfortunately also because of Corona.
Interests
As I said, I love to cook and I'm studying for doing it, hoping to combine my two greatest passions : eat and travel. I love to travel, not only for visiting countries, meeting people, but also for tasting all typical foods from the place I'm going. Obviously, as the 99% of Italians, I love wine, especially red one.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm into eletronic music, every kind. Indie rock and alternative as well. I usually listen a lot of Italian songs ( especially from the 60-70ies) and rappers also. I'm in love with cinema, Italians movies from the 50ies are awesome. Speaking of international movies, the directors that I like the most are Kubrick and Tarantino.I've seen a lot of TV series too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've crossed the board of a country without passport. I'll tell you more later ahah but I guess the most amazing one was when I've lived for a month without a phone and internet connection. Never felt so good.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share for sure my life experiences, my knowledge of Italian cuisine, my colorfull culture and my trip experiences. I would like to learn something, positive or negative it doesn't matter, from every new person I'll meet. I know it's not easy but that's my mantra, take as much as I can and learn from every person. So I'm always looking for people to want to actually spend time together for real.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Only good vibes but if you're more of a solo person, than don't send me request just for the couch, this is not the purpose of Couchsurfing, for that there's Airbnb, Couchsurfing is for connecting people and stories, not sofas or bookings.
