Born and raised in Portugal, I don't consider myself only a Portuguese. Above all I consider myself an European. So I try to visit the most I can of Europe. Maybe after I can take a new step and start to consider myself a citizen of the world. How can I consider myself one before knowing what is near me? I don't like to visit places in the ordinary way. I like to meet the people, the traditions, the language, so that I can return to my home knowing that I've lived my own experience.

I moved to London in 2014 and before that I lived for 4 months in Bologna, Italy.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

For 7 years I visited one of the most unknown islands in Europe, the Azores, in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. They became my own and private sanctuary. I always compare my travelling experiences with the memory of a night when, in one of the islands, at 2 am, me and some friends decided to take a boat into the middle of the ocean, when the moon wasn't full, the sea was flat and the plankton sparkled in our hands like diamonds.
