I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in CA, where every city is beach-side :P sike! I've been to many places with my family - Canada, Philippines, Mexico, other states - but I truly love traveling alone and with friends be it hiking, camping, backpacking, or leaving the country for a new experience. I studied abroad in Chile for six months y lo pasé la raaaaja! Me enamoré al toque. Encontré personas súper simpáticas q nos llevó cuando hicimos dedo... Hice couch surfing en Castro, Chiloe, y aprendí mucho más q esperé. Afuera de las aulas, te lo juro q sí es verdad, te pones sabia porque no bastan los "life lessons" q aprendes por la naturaleza y las calles.

One of my biggest hopes is that I can relate to people and connect with them, I truly try every time, I'm learning resilience in the face of racism, sexism, classism, etc., but my God, if everyone could understand and take on the Other's perspective (short of bigots and chauvinists), we would have a better world.

I'm excited always to meet new ppl.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to travel on the cheap, always. Same with meeting new people of the ~same mindset/ openness to strangers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First ever backpacking trip was 9 days in Torres del Paine, Patagonia, Chile. It kicked my ass but I loved it.
