ABOUT ME

Hello! Hola! Oi!

I've been living in NYC since August 2011. Moved here to do master's program in International Education (happy to explain what that entails if you're curious).

Other stuff I've done you may or may not give a shit about:

Spent the summer of 2012 studying Portuguese, higher education, race and affirmative action and volunteering a bit in Rio, Brazil.

Before moving to NYC I backpacked around South America for four months (Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Brasil y Colombia).

Before that I spent 8 years living in the San Francisco Bay Area, 5 of which were spent working as a study abroad adviser at UC Berkeley.

Before that grew up in the LA area.

I really like cereal, dancing, and coffee :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately it's been a long time since I've been able to host people (most of the roommates I've had the last few years haven't felt comfortable hosting) and I haven't been as involved more recently as I would like, but I love CS community and try to meet up with people occasionally.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing. I've hosted a bit, hung out a bit, and surfed a bit (Mexico City, Argentina, Cuba, and NYC).
