ABOUT ME

My background: Father from Spain, mother from Argentina, born and raised in Venezuela, then moved to Miami in my teens and then to NY with my Boyfriend...

After 10 years of living in New York (Brooklyn) and working 9to5's...still having fun (but something was missing) - I quit my job to go explore Southeast Asia - starting with Japan and now Thailand where I'm doing a TEFL certification which I'm hoping allows us to stay longer.

Luckily, my partner, Chris, can work online and share this experience with me...He skateboards so if anyone in Chiang Mai knows any good spots...

PHILOSOPHY

I realized last year... Life is too short. Do what you want and don't let others expectations get in the way. Embrace being different.

I watch a lot of indie films and documentaries. The Last two I saw were: AI WEIWEI: NEVER SORRY (great film, great artist) and Herb & Dorothy. I also watched a movie about Thailand before coming here, called Teddy Bear - Danish film.

Music: I love so many types of music for real...from Pulp, Morrissey, Wedding Present, Yo La Tengo, to old Jazz, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Lena Horne. Totally into Bikini Kill, Bratmobile, Bjork, Fugazi and lots of different types of music in general.
