Hi I'm Andy and I live in the beautiful countryside of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. I am half british, half german and have been living here in Germany for 12 years now . I am open minded, thoughtful, sociable and very optimistic. I am great at improvising and will make the best out of any situation. I am a hard worker, but also love enjoying a lazy day in bed or in the park.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im taking a gap year before I start studying, starting after my 18th birthday in september with Italy as a first destination. I want to travel travel through Europe, Africa and/or Asia. Couchsurfing seems to be a great way to connect to locals or other travelers. I really like the set up as a social network and hope to meet like minded people in different parts of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music, Jazz, Blues, Soul, Rock, Metal, Hip Hop, Punk, Electronic, Classic, Salsa, Reggae etc. I always like to dicover new styles and artists. When it comes to movies I don't have a specific taste either, but I mostly watch documentaries on TV. I like reading philosophical books and am also very interested in social sciences and ethnology.

I was on stage with my favourite hip hop artist in front of 25000 people at a music festival.

I like to exchange knowledge and discuss cultural beliefs. I always like to experience different ways of life, and learn about different perspectives. I would like to improve my french, and am very happy to help others in learning english or german.
