About Me
Hello to you all!
So, I already can't decide on what to tell you about me...with actually describes an important trait of me: I'm often undetermined and simply like to see what the day will bring.
I also have a tendancy to be dreamy and out of it. Oh, and not to forget, there is my hit-and-miss approach to humour.
Finally, let me conclude this section with some wise words of R.W. Emerson: Always do what you are afraid to do and death of fear will be certain.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people and seeing new places. That's all.
Beeing on an ERASMUS exchange at the University of Poitiers (France) at the moment, I hope to get around the area a bit.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, I mostly like to listen to rock and pop: Belle & Sebastian, Maximilian Hecker, Tomte, Thees Uhlmann, Enya, Meat Loaf, Die Ärzte, Dionysos, Les Trois Accords, Boy, Gisbert zu Knyphausen, Kings of Convenience, Tallest Man on Earth,...
There are a lot of great movies, but most of the time I like to have good laugh. Some movies I can recommend:
- Anger Management, As Good as it Gets, The Departed, Batman (In fact, most of the movies starring Jack Nicholson)
- Star Wars, Indiana Jones (all of them)
- Pulp Fiction, Sin City
Reading is great and often so inspiring. Generally, I'm attracted by shorter forms of literature like poems or short storys, but in the end it doesn't really matter, does ist? My insider tip would be Cees Nooteboom (well, he's maybe to well known to be an insider tip?)
