Hey,

What could I write about me? - it's always hard to answer such a question. May the most people would say I am more the quite guy, guess they are right. In my little free time I prefer hang in a nice bar or go on a "treasure hunt", instead of a disco or something like that.

Cologne is the town I come from. It is one of the famous big towns of germany, thanks to the cathedral. Many people come here takeing some fotos. looking some signs and travel to the next city. They don't see how it really is here.
But I am interested in new expierences and another views about the world. And as long you are nice to me I am nice to you. Easy, isn't it?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

But I don't want to expierience the places I go to only as tourist, seeing some signs or attractions. There sure are all nice, and would I do sightseeing. I would be glad if I could expierence al little bit of the normal life there. And it is time to do so.

Finally a friend told me about Couchsurfing, that you can do exact this expieriences. And learn about how people live around the world. Not only about some nice views and signs. And maybe I can share my expierences with others, someday.

Interests

Of course I like some books, music and some games, who does not? But I prefer to go geocaching. It's a kind of treasurehunt can do all over the world. It can guide you to place you didn't know before and show you new places to explore. Sometimes even an old Ruin. One day I may get smileys all over the world(-map).
And like I mentioned I listen to music, too. It's mostly to metal or rock, bands like Nightwish or Blind Guardian. But even more to some folkrock. Subway to Sally, In Extremo for example should be some of the better known.
So it may don't suprise you if I tell you now that I (if I find time for it) like to read not only "thriller"-books, also fantasybooks like Lord of the Rings or the Gallica trilogie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many years ago, I was with some other guys on a trip for about 2 weeks in the swedish forrests. First we hiked around some lakes, then we toke some canoes.
It was the first time for me to have nothing around me exept trees, lakes and animals.
May it's not a big deal, but I think will never forgett the beauty of nature I saw on this trip.
