About Me

Hi there!!

Last year i fulfilled so many dreams of mine. And couchsurfing had a huge impact on that. After i graduated i denied a job offer to get out of my comfort zone and also work on my own film projects without any company behind it. I packed my backpack and started in Vancouver.
I lived and worked 3 months in british columbia in canada. 2 out of 3 i worked on a sleddog kennel and lived in a small wooden cabin without any electricity and boy that was so awesome! It was in the middle of nothing. So just the team and 116 huskies to train and care about. That was just amazing. One of the best things was that i worked for food and accomodation. Otherwise i would never ever have been able to afford a trip like this. I was and still am a poor student. (now graduate) I worked in a lot of different places like farms, hostels, etc.
When the summer began i went to California to work as a volonteer in a surfhostel. This happened in san diego and was completely different than my sleddog experience but not less awesome. In this international travel hostel i met soo many awesome people and found friends for life. In between these major stops where i worked i travelled and couchsurfing helped me a lot!
For now i'm back in germany and currently looking for a job. But to be honest i can't wait to experience another adventure like that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfers are just so lovely people. People that see the good sides in humans. That still have faith and are just willing to share what they have in order to meet new people. In my eyes this is a great deal!
I'm grateful for every couchsurfing experience i made so far.
I think it is a great way to get to know new cultures and the people.

Interests

I'm really into outdoor sports. Even without sports i enjoy being out in the nature. My favorites are mountainbiking for sure, snowboarding, hiking, camping, skating and surfing.
And when i'm not in an active mood i love lying in my hammock and read a book or listen to music.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment i really like books about different lifestyles and mindsets. Just stuff where you can think about even if it's already finished.
I loove oldschool hiphop! But also a lot of the good old stuff like pink floyd and led zeppelin .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say the most amazing thing i did was to leave to another continent by myself with just a backpack. I think it is important to leave your comfort zone otherwise you will get stuck in it.
