About Me

I was born in Denmark and have lived here for the past 11 years, but I spent most of my childhood living in Belgium, attending an international school in Brussels.
In 2017 I finished studying in gymnasium (danish mix between high school and college) and since that I've been working in an electronics store as a salesperson, while traveling around the world in my spare time.

I spend a lot of time sailing, and currently I am part of the crew of The Sea Stallion from Glendalough, which is the world's biggest reconstruction of a viking ship (google it, it's amazing!).
I also play a lot of ultimate frisbee, and I think it (and sport in general) is an amazing way to connect people from around the world.
I love listening to music, everything from folk to rock, classical to blues and hip hop, there's not much I don't like.

Recently I've gotten a lot into climbing and mountaineering, and that's something that I would really like to explore more in my travels!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think to experience a country, you must meet and get to know the people of it. A guidebook can be helpful and know a lot, but a local can give you another, and possibly a more honest, perspective of life in that country.
I have set myself a new goal when I travel, and that is to get a friend from the country I travel to, and couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to meet a lot of like minded positive people who loves to explore the world and share it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll give you two:

1. Sailing on the world's biggest reconstruction of a viking ship through the night, while sailing past copenhagen with all it's lights lighting up the dark sky, and then the next morning seeing the sunset reflected on the white chalk walls of Møns Klint.

2. Snorkeling with a wild sea turtle when I visited Bali in 2017. That whole trip was just one amazing thing after another!
