About Me

Hey, my name is Andi, i'm 23 years old and german.
I've grown up in the south of Germany, in Karlsruhe, at the french border and at the Rhine river.
Now i'm studying in Tübingen at the university geography and natural sciences in the 4th year.

But actually i'm doing my Erasmus semester in Porto.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With time, countries travelled and time spended in other countries with other travellers i noticed how important it is, not to plan and organise your journey from the start to the ending, but to be more spontaneous and free for changes and the current mood for example to stay some days more.
On the other side, i'd like to welcome people in Tübingen, because it's a very small town, but not less beautiful! maybe there aren't lot of people passing by, but if so, i'd like to welcome them.

Music, Movies, and Books

For the music i'm quite diverse. Most of the time i hear german, but also french or portuguese Rap or Hip-Hop. Additionally, i hear Ska, a bit Reggae or something similar. Another day, i prefere Rock, but i have always problems with Pop music...

Of course there are numerous movies i watched and liked, but to count them all is a bit hard. E.g. for series, i prefered "Lost" and "Breaking Bad", but they've also been the only series i watched completely.

In the past and when i've been younger, i read much more books. But nowadays a lost this passion, so i focused more on books about the political and actual events of the days and geopolitics.

But more time than with movies or books, i spend with watching football!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Puh, i don't have the feeling, that there's the one amazing thing.

Maybe when we crossed the Drakensbergs with a small Toyota Corolla Verso...

Teach, Learn, Share

Unforunately, i just know cooking easy meals, so here i can learn a lot.

But for football, nature, science and technology i have a lot of passion and motivation, i could share in playing, discussing or just sharing with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Of course when i'm on travel i don't have a lot of material things i can share, just me, my experiences of travelling, studying and living. But i'd say they are quite wide spread despite my relative young age.
Results would maybe be some nice evenings with a beer, tapas and an lively and interesting discussion about several topics you are me are interested in!
