About Me

I'm an aspriring storyteller from Germany who studies screenwriting at the moment. From a young age, books were the place were I could hide when the reality just became a little too harsh.
I hope that one day, I'll write stories that make people feel the same way that I do when I read a touching book or see an exciting movie.

Besides that, I'm also a huge nerd, into Live Action Role Play, Japan and a whole bunch of other stuff! :)

I also believe in kindness - be kind, and you'll get something back. I also try to expand that on a lot of things - that's why I'm vegan ^^.

I would love to host myself - but I'm living with my mother right now, who isn't comfortable with strangers in her home. But should we become friends during one of my stays, I'll gladly invite you to stay on my couch :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've stayed in my safe, secure little nutshell - also called my room in Mother's flat - for way too long. I want to explore the world, see other cultures - and form connections with all kinds of people.
And I think couchsurfing is just the right place to do that.

And I'll be honest: I'm a poor student, ain't got that money for all those fancy hotels.
So that helps too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To be honest, there's no single memory that comes to mind right now. I'm just grateful for what I have, the friends, the good relationship with my mother, and just life in general.
Only got one, so I'll better take care of it! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Is there supposed to be something inspiring here?
Well how about this: Out of every negative experience, you can draw a positive lesson to enrich your life in the future. If you choose to do so, instead of drowning in self pity that will only worsen the situation.

An Example:
You and your partner broke up, because you realized in won't work out?
Well, now at least you know what you don't want in a future relationship, right?
That experience will help you find the right partner in your future - if you choose to learn from what went wrong with this one, your and his mistakes and so on.
Far too many people just drown in anger, pity or despair instead of leaving those feelings behind. Draw everything positive, every life lesson you can out of what happened, and move on, stronger than ever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I can share with my hosts?
Basically everything they want to share with me. Ok, this may sounded wrong.

I'm an open person and a good listener. I tend to have rather intimate conversations about all kinds of topics.
I like to laugh, have fun, experience life with others, while trying to be as kind and respectful as possible with every other human being.
I'm always up for new experiences - as long as they're legal.
So if I haven't tried it, there's a pretty big chance that I'm in.
I'm not the biggest fan of loud, crowded parties with house music and laserlight though - more the "have a night walk under the moonlight before we sit at our bonfire, drink wine and talk about the world" kinda guy.

Oh, and I also learned how to cook as a vegan recently. If anyone is interested in cooking together - or talking about philosohy, psychology or literature - that's always a huge plus for me . :)
