About Me

First thing you should know about me is, that I am very bad in writing about me.
But maybe I can try...:

I love to meet new people and am very interested in the rythm of the place which I visit. So sight seeing i a nice thing, but its also fantastic to waste a day in a Cafe or a park if this is what people do over there. I like to go to exhibitions, concerts and bars, but I also like walking around and beeing surprised where I arrive.

In Berlin - where I live - I am student in Print and Media Technologies. Furthermore, I am working in a schoolbook publisher. I my freetime I like to go to cinema, concerts (classic and Rock) and little Bars. Sometimes I am reading a lot. In other times I find my sportiv side and go to climbing or Yoga. In addition to that I am crazy about good music.

So I really don't know what else to write here. Did I mention, that I am not very good in explaining myself ...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling because different places give me a new focus on many things and I really like to meet new people. Sometimes it is necessary to jump out of the comfort zone and just to book a flight somewhere.
Mostly I am very interested in the way life is going in a place. So I try to meet Locals, talk, drink some beer, and so on.
Couchsurfing is a great way to concentrate these oportunities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Very different kinds of music: Arcade Fire, Manu Chao, Nicolas Jaar, Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd, Pantha Du Prince, Moderat ...

Books:
I really like to read classical books of Hesse, Steinbeck and Hemingway. Furthermore I started to read some Indian Authors like Arundhati Roi and Aravind Adiga (White Tiger is an awesome book). I am reading in English and German.

Movies:
Also a huge field! I love movies like Hail Caesar, The big Lebowski, Tambien la lluvia, Grand Budaprest Hotel, Timbuktu, Les Triplets de Bellville, What we do in the shadows, Adams apples, The Godfather, and much more. You see: Very different stuff. There can be some good Western movie or Woodie Allen's Midnight in Paris, as long I do not have to watch Transformers - fine for me

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
