About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to have a nice day today

ABOUT ME

I am Andreas. Living in Copenhagen and loving it.
I am trying to make the best of every day, and so far this has worked for me.
I am studying political science at the university of Copenhagen, and I spend most of my time hanging out with all the nice people I know.
I am living in a small 2-room apartment with a good friend of mine.
I enjoy going dancing. This semester I even took a ballroom dance class, and I have to say that I was pretty damn good at it :)

PHILOSOPHY

I guess my primary philosophy is a somewhat hedonistic one. I am just trying to enjoy whatever I am doing with my time. I try to remind myself that if I do not like what I am doing at the moment, perhaps it is not worth doing.

Interests

Society, cultural structures, music, dancing, boots, books, movies etc.

Or just spending time with my friends, making new friends or just having a nice afternoon with coffee/books/beer/music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many different kinds of music, but especially: Kate Bush, Pet Shop Boys, Gogol Bordello, Kaizers Orchestra, Scissor Sisters, Elton John, Hercules and Love Affair.
I like every book by Danish author Peter Høeg. I am right now reading Dantes Divine Comedy, and I have been for the past 7 months. I am on page 70 (!). So much for high culture.
I like Keith Haring a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my time in high school I was playing with a Downs syndrome boy every sunday, so that his parents could get some time off. That was kind of amazing. He really had an outlook on life different from my own.

Countries I’ve Visited
