I am 24 years old and grew up in Tschagguns (Austria) in a cosy mountain village ;) I am stuying and living in Vienna, but I'm currently studying abroad in Barcelona.
[That's also why I cannot host anybody at the moment because I just moved here and I live in a small flat with 2 other guys. Sorry :/]

All in all, I am a communicative, easy-going person. I love to travel and discover new things. Depending on my mood I enjoy staying at home, reading or watching movies just as much as going out to party with my friends, so to say I'm an "all in one tool" ^^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I only host people if I can at least offer them some time to do stuff and get to know each other, I think there's no sense in letting somebody stay at my place without having that. That's what hotels are there for....
Of course when I'm busy we might not hang out all day together but in that case I try to have a drink or dinner together with my surfers at least :)

I just think hanging out and spending time with locals makes traveling so much better! ;) Same goes for hosting people, I discover a new face of my city each time I do stuff with surfers. that's why I'm on couchsurfing :D
I can basically have the whole world in my appartment when I host people from all over the world..... traveling without leaving one's house so to speak ;)

Interests

I love food; when I'm traveling I always try to taste the local food and specialities. In general I adore spicy dishes and on top of all SEAFOOD :)

I am also interessted in literature and movies; ah yeah and comics rule!

I like running and going to gym; there's a nice park with a lake close to my place so if you want to you can join me for a run.
I am a fan of american footbal and from time to time I enjoy watching a soccer match on TV.

During winter I spend a lot of time snowboarding in the Austrian mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. Hard to name a favorite. Maybe you just plug in your ipod and I'm sure we will find some stuff I like ;)

I absolutely love going to concerts and festivals, I've been playing the guitar for a couple of years so I also enjoy jamming with other people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't really have something like a "top ten" but I generally think travelling is one of the most amazing, mind-broadening, experiences :) you always see or do something new and amazing....
I had an amazing time in South America, I guess it's one of my favorite desinations :) but lately I love traveling to Spain cuz I made some awesome friends there..... ahhh there's too little time and (almost always ^^) too little money for all the cool places one could travel to *_*

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, teaching is going to be my job ^^ in this matter I can offer you English, Spanish (still learning ^^) and my mother tounge German.
Concerning these languages I always enjoy having a conversation with natives; although I'm going to be a teacher we never stop being learners, right? ;)

Since I began my studies in Vienna, I've become fond of cooking..... I am not a chef but I'd love to exchange some recipes or some tips about cooking :)
