Overview
About Me
Hi, I am Andi.
I studied Biology with a focus on Plant Science and Botany. I am working part-time in a Lab in an algae cultivation company. I have hardly any hobbies as I spent most of my time studying and working. However, these two things feel like hobbies anyway so it's totally fine for me. I like growing my own food, therefore I started breeding chicken at the age of 15 for eggs and meat. I live in the countryside where I have the possibility to also have a big garden for cultivating vegetables.
I like to travel and meet people, but as money is always scarce, Couchsurfing seems to be the perfect deal for me. I want to try it a bit and maybe I will soon also have some guests staying with me.
When I am travelling i am usually with Johanna, we also live together. So when I am hosting you will also get to know her. Check out here profile here:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Honestly, for me, it seemed great to visit locals and stay with them while saving money too. I am traveling a lot and also wanted to make this kind of experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being face-to-face with a wild bear.
Also I got so terribly lost on a 30 minutes walk that I sent 15 Hours to find a way back to the camp in Kyrgyzstan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm glad you asked! ;) I'm soon starting to teach Biology and Physics at a local highschool. I love learning about the history and culture of places I'm visiting, but generally I'm pretty much interested in everything (apart from sports :P).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm great at telling stupid dad jokes, random botanical facts on potential hikes or park visits, and my fascination about museums.
