ABOUT ME
NOTE: This profile text is not up to date, but I haven't found the motivation to write a new one yet. Anyway, since I wrote this, I have only become a better and more mature person. Met more persons, read more books, slept more, been thinking more, forgotten more etc.. So don't worry, you'll only be positively surprised. Have a nice day. KH. Andreas

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I offer a couch at my home in Solrød Strand, Denmark, for people who 1) are traveling on a low budget and just need a place to stay for a day or two, or 2) like to meet and talk with local people on their journey to increase their travel experiences.
I do for the same two reason find CS attractive to use for my travel through the USA.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm now half way through my cross-country journey in the U.S. and I'm very happy that I chose to use couchsurfing. Couchsurfing is a great way to make your experiences more about people than buildings and the biggest experiences so far have been the encounters with my hosts and other couchsurfers. Traveling with couchsurfing has made me realize how enriching it is to transcend your cultural barriers and diffidence towards meeting new people and filled my journey with stories and conversations that I wouldn't be able to read about in my Lonely Planet Book. Besides that my experience so far is that couchsurfing also helps you become a more tolerant person.
