About Me

I'm from Germany, but traveling around the world working as a Chef. My next destination of choice is Spain, and I hope to see many different cities and cultures there. I love Spanish food, but mainly, I really want to learn a third language!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and have little money :D
In the past years I have worked, studied and traveled abroad in many different places and I have a handful of friends in a lot of different places. I don't expect that every encounter results in a lifelong friendship, because sometimes, this one night together with someone you'll never see again, but remember for years can be worth it, too.

Interests

Cooking, anything Culinary, Sports
I love playing Soccer and I'm a big fan of watching live games too.
Besides Soccer, probably Football and Basketball are also something I follow regularly, and I could have hour-long discussions about it haha

Music, Movies, and Books

my favorite music ranges through all kinds of genres and probably also changes every other month :D
Movies, I like a lot of them, watched a ton, but unfortunately I didn't find the time anymore to watch any, the last time around.

Now books are coming more and more to my interest, when I was younger I read a lot of novels, like The Alchemist, The Eragon Series, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy... But nowadays, I like to read books that are either inspiring me to pursue something or a motivating me on my career path.
Simon Sinek is one very inspiring author...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a road trip with three friends from San Francisco to Chicago and back. Driving through 13 different US States and discovering all kinds of crazy things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a fluent German and English speaker and think am moderately capable of teaching those languages. I'm currently learning Spanish, and Duolingo tells me, that I'm 52% fluent :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I worked as a Chef for the past seven years and would love to show my skills in a dinner.
I'm also completely fine with monetary compensation, hey it's your home and I'm probably already very lucky to be able to stay there. Let's say we'll go out and check out the city and I will take care of the tap.
Or whatever other thing in return I can do for you, let me know. I really admire anyone that is so generous to share his home.
