ABOUT ME

Lets make a sketch: Currently I work on my phd in mathematical statistics. I studied maths in Berlin after I had lived in South Africa for one year, working with handicapped people on a bio-dynamic farm and living community. My hobbies are, when I am not injured soccer and bouldering. There is a guitar in my room but as i do not want to molest anybody I only play when I am alone... I like to appreciate the divers offers of berlin, like the open air parties in summer, the clubs and many cultural offers, but as you might know it many times is difficult to find the energy. So often I just chill out with my flatmates or friends, chatting away, watching movies or planing eco-terroristic attacks on Hammer-driving and Biofuel using ignorant guys talking about "performance justice". I try to design my daily live in a "sustainable" and just way where I can. This is an important issue for me and if you come by we might talk about this. So if you like regular uncompensated long distance flights, daily meat dishes and cheap clothes there might be some frown on my side...

I really liked books by: Beckett, Pynchon, Houellebecq and Thomas Bernhard

but I also enjoyed "Lord of the rings"

My favorite Directors are: Dresen, Petzhold and Wes Anderson

but i also liked "the Avangers" and "The Dark Knight"

Music: Well Pink Floyd allways was well appreciated, now I also like Bodi Bill, Whitest Boy alive, Paul Kalkbrenner and the free-jazz stuff a friend of mine does (Garagenjungs)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a whale with calf swimming near the shore. That was really amazing, as you do not see a lot of such things in Germany!

The Photo series "Oil" by Edward Burtynsky's on 3 times 3 meter images really was impressive!
