Hello!

I'm Andreea from Romania, currently living in the capital of Belgium! I am 23 years old and I work for a youth organization. I am a super open-minded person, adventurous, I always take any chance I have in front of me. That's how I ended up living in Prague for one year as an Erasmus student, then I volunteered in Belgium for almost one year and at the end landed a job.

I consider myself independent, but because I am an extrovert I enjoy very much being around people, that is where I usually charge my batteries. I love to be part a community and in the same time make other people feel part of it. I was always curious about other countries, their culture, traditions, lifestyles so I'm keen on meeting lots of people and learning something from them (whether it's about history, life experiences, language exchange, everything welcome).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always thought it's better and easier to learn about a new country or city from the locals. This is why I want to experience travelling in this way. Also, it's always nice to make friends in other countries, you never know when you get to visit them again, or them visit you. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I mainly love techno and all sorts of electronic music, but I'm also a sucker for alternative/indie rock. Nevertheless, I can listen to any kind of music as long as it sounds good. And I love finding new artists! Not reading too much but love discovering good books every once in a while.

I can share all my knowledge about my country, if you're interested. Also, tips and tricks on what to visit, when and must-do in Romania and Belgium :)

I consider myself a pretty decent cook (though I don't really know traditional dishes) so I can always cook something for more people!
