About Me

Maybe the best word to describe me is enthusiastic. I enjoy connecting with people and cultures, sharing stories and making friends. I am passionate about photography, minimalism and plants. So you will most probably find me explaining the story behind my pictures on a daily basis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I am travelling by the means of DiscoverEu the entire month of August. I believe this to be a great way of interacting with people, making friends and have someone to spend my journey with.

Interests

As I have mentioned, minimalism, photography, museums, architecture and plants are things that bring joy in my soul.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m into minimal when it comes to music as well. I usually listen to micro house, minimal techno and so on. However, I am a strong believer that all genres have something of their own. That’s why I won’t limit myself to a single one. When it comes to favourites, my favourite band will forever be Depeche Mode.
Regarding movies, I just love fiction and mystery. Movies such as Inception, Shutter Island, The Butterfly Effect, I Origins will forever have a special place in my heart. My favourite TV series are Game of Thrones, Da Vinci’s Demons, 11/22/63, Sherlock and My Brilliant Friend. The list is much much longer, but I will just leave these here.
When it comes to books, fiction is my first choice as well. The author that I feel the strongest connection with is Haruki Murakami, with his masterpieces A Wild Sheep Chase, Norwegian Wood, 1Q84, Dance Dance Dance, The Elephant Vanishes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me, amazing always has to do with people. I have started my own NGO in my home city at the age of 17. I am now dealing with educating teenagers in domains such as robotics, computer science or even arts and volunteering. I think this is a great accomplishment and the most fulfilling thing I have done by this age- seeing people smile, befriend each other and gather knowledge is what makes me realise that my dream has become reality.

Teach, Learn, Share

I suppose this topic refers to what I can teach, learn and share.
For sure, what I can teach depends on what the person next to me wants to learn. I can be really flexible according to everyone’s needs.
What I want to learn is culture. Languages. Stories. I would love to learn from natives, as they are the best ones to teach me such things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share whatever they want me to: from practical skills to theoretical knowledge. I am a jack of all trades myself, so I suppose I will be able to share almost anything I possess spiritually.
