ABOUT ME

I am independent and trusting. I treasure moments of connection with different individuals, emerging myself in different ways of living, traditions, ideologies. Very comfortable meeting new people and dealing with new situations. Many would call my personality perhaps a little weird, I was never very good at blending in with the mass media ideals of what one should do and be, how one should dress and act. I realize time on this wonderful planet is limited, and I consistently strive to make the most of it, not so much by remembering and documenting my journey here, but by practicing being grounded in the moment, taking it with both hands. I go more on spontaneity then organization (which has sometimes left me sleeping in train stations while traveling...), I have a better sense of the world while I see it in action rather then speculating on future plans. That might be to say that I am young and friendly and have a passion for living and making sure my time here is connected with a wide variety of individuals!

Interests

I am a classical performance student, and thus have a real passion for the art! I spend a good portion of my time involved in this discipline as well as other musical activities. I also have a passion for art and film (the stranger and more art house, the better!) and feel very much at peace in nature (ah, the beauty of trees, and flowers and open fields, ah :). I enjoy meeting new people, and enjoy the company of friends and family, although I happy to spend time alone, and indeed, I spend much time this way! I am also passionate about humanity, I spend much time thinking of those less fortunate then many of us and believe we can all make the place a little better. ( I am rambling a lot, so I will stop although there is much one can say about one's interesting in life, there is so much available for us to get excited about!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The birth and journey of my little brother for the past 4 years! One is always being told of how wonderful life is, but to witness the journey of child from his first cry to his first day at home, and his first steps, and words and, oh, so many firsts! There is so much little children get excited about, they still see life as real philosophers, I have learned there is such passion one can learn from watching a child attempt to understand the universe! There are many more moments, involving meeting new people, the friendliness and love of our fellow beings, little gestures of kindness such as being offered a free bouquet of flowers or a free drink at the bar, a smile or a free seat on the bus, all such small moment are full of hope and excitement! (If my words sound very full on, please believe me that life is also less philosophical for me, I am also very good at making small talk about the weather ;)!)
