About Me

My background pushes me to make a long description of myself so if I needed some time for doing this, you will need a lot of patience for reading this :)

I belive that talking about myself it’s the hardest thing because I'm a perfectionist and I would like to give you a perfect image of me but I realise that no matter what words I will use they will not express myself properly.
Where do people usually start when they need to talk about their world? I don’t know. But I know where I will start from. I belive that the others are like a mirror for me and what I see in them is a reflection of myself. So now I have an easier question to answer:

How do I see the world?

I see the good but I see the evil too because both of them are in me, but I'm trying to focus more on the bright side of things and to be on the good side. I’ve told you that you need a lot of patience..do you see how phylosophical am I?
So now it’s time for some concrete things.

I was born in a small city in Romania, I had a beautiful childhood with a lot of adventures because on that times we did’t have awesome cell phones and internet was a luxury…Lucky me, because my little sister who have all of this today seems to have a less adventurous childhood.
I've practiced a lot of sports and activities: football, table tenis, swimming and chess for a longer period/ and quitar , traditional dances, hiking for a shorter period.

I've decided to study economics in high-school and after 4 years I did an unespected jump from economics to Faculty of Theology, a completely different thing, even if some people say that religion it’s all about money :P It’s not. I had some big questions and I felt that here I will find my answers.
Right now I’m in my last year of Psychology. I feel that we are not just brain and we can’t answer to all the questions, sometimes we just need to listen our heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me this platform is not just about free hosting, it's about making new friends, sharing beautiful experiences, knowing each other's culture and way of thinking.
It's about a miniature universe meeting another miniature universe.

Interests

My main interest are the people with everything which they bring in. All the people are equal and have the same greatness because of their nature but in the same time everybody is unique, an infinite mystery that I would like to unravel.
I would like to know new people from different cities, countries, continents, because every flower smells different.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen any kind of good music, especially the one with a message for me. If the melody doesn't say anything to me I will listen it, but I will not remember it. Because now it happens to listen music maybe while I'm working on some projects, I prefer The piano Guys, Lindsey Stirling, Symple Three, Yanni, Enya....some greek music, turkish instrumental music, celtic music...

I love all the good movies but I love those that are based on a true story because producers take a story and make a movie after if it's something to say to the world. Most of the movies that I've seen were very inspirational and I had a lot to learn from. Some of my favourite movies that I've seen recently are: Freedom writers, Schindler's List, Braveheart, Hacksaw Ridge, Patch Adams, Unbroken.

Now about books...Of course, first of all I am interested about science-psychology-religion books and articles, but also some universal literature and good books recommended by my friends. My last book was from Martin Buber, known for the philosophy of dialogue.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of amazing things but not in the way that someone could think. For example I did't climb Everest without oxigen, neither swiming the entire length of the Amazon River or flying without parachute :P...because I wouldn't hve been here.....

For me every moment it's an amazing experience because I'm happy for everything that I have. Some nice moments was when my little sister was born (she has 13 years old now), my first time hiking in the mountains, when I was in my first trip in Greece, urban axe throwing, exploring Mount Athos...

Teach, Learn, Share

If you have some interest about my culture, my country, psychology or religion I would be happy to respond as much I know (don't expect that I know everything about those fields).
But rather than teaching I am willing to learn from others. I want to know YOU and just after that: your culture, language, national history, local traditions...

What I share to you in my country:
I'm staying in university campus so I can't share my room there, but I promise you that I will find a place for you to stay and I will do my best for you to have a wonderful experience here.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will share with you everything that I have. We can share stories, knowledge, memories and also some traditional food from my country..

Countries I’ve Visited

England, Germany, Greece
