Overview
About Me
I am a kendo instructor, and kendo is a way of life for me, because it's a highway to self-discovery. I have an education in Anthropology, but I don't practice, I only use it as a tool to watch and understand the world, as much as one can understand anything of it... which I currently seriously doubt, but the illusion is necessary...I lived in Paris and Rome, so I became a bit of a hedonist. I do appreciate good food, good wine, good music, a nice view, good music...and so forth for the other senses :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people and experiencing different cultures from a personal, human and subjective point of view... interesting people are an endangered species..some of the last survivors can be found on CS.
Interests
Kendo, Anthropology, Politics, Philosophy, Psychology, Statistics, Environmental issues... most of human knowledge...I am also a bit of a football fan

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, compared to other profiles, I don't know if I qualify to the 'amazing' category. I am not really a seasoned traveler, but I have seen a couple of interesting places and done a couple of things I will surely remember decades from now, and that's what's important...and many more to come. Maybe running a full marathon was my most extreme experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Foreign languages, kendo, anthropology, politics..I am a pretty good cook...or I am surrounded by very polite people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An interesting conversation... that's also my highest expectation of people.
