Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

A friend went Couchsurfing recently and told me of the great experience she had. I decided to see what it's about. I also think it's very nice to able to go to a country and live with a local to better embrace the culture that they have to offer.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Everything to do with Aerosmith, Aretha Franklin, Bon Jovi, Nicolas Jaar, Chet Faker...the list goes on. Strong lyrics, catchy rhythm, power ballads, mindblowing beats, you name it.

Notable movies for me are London, The Lord of the Rings, Fight Club, X-Men, The Pianist...and anything Disney.

I like fantasy books.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

While living in the UK my housemate and I decided to volunteer for Secret Solstice festival in Iceland. We went camping in Iceland, in the middle of the summer solstice for 10 days and it was absolutely amazing. The highlight of that event was listening to an amazing Massive Attack performance at 11 in the night with the sun shining behind the stage...it was otherworldly.

We also met a lot of interesting people from all over the world and it felt as though we went to another world for a few days. If you haven't been there, you should make it a priority.
