About Me

I've lived my first 20 years in Romania, I've started studying psychology in 2017 and I left one year to study in Turkey via the Erasmus study programme and here I am right now. Ready to let the fears aside and just experience the world. Yeah adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well... I was volunteering maybe 3 years ago and one friend has been using Couchsurfing to go to amazing places and meet even more amazing people. She went to Japan, Brazil and all in-between. I finally mustered enough courage and determination to do it myself too. Life too short to be afraid. So, why am I here? To meet people, to listen to stories, to learn about cultures, to visit many places and to experience this life the best way I can!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm. Once, I was in charge of recreational activities in the mornings and evenings for the entire duration of a camp. It was great: making plans the day before and the putting them together in the current day, the kids were so happy and energetic. The atmosphere was amazing and I found there a great team within the bigger ones, who helped me make everything. I think it teaching me a bit about teamwork and how big things we can do, if we work together. In the final activity, we had a treasure hunt and they had to play games in teams and race eachothers, so there were 7 games at the same time in different locations in the camp... and there was no phone signal. My team was coordinating the games and my job was to check everything to be in order. So I was running and talking, screaming and breathing up and down, up and down in the camp. My parents came at a point and they saw me just running everywhere. I felt so useful back then, like a real part of a team. It felt amazing. Really amazing. So yeah, together we can create bigger projects.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can practice english together. Or I am eager to learn their native language. Or to teach them my native language.

I can offer some unauthorized expertise in psychology (still studying).

We can make balloon animals, if we have ballons. And a pump for balloons (very important). Same with juggling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share our life philosophies. I often like to do than. It makes me think that we are different but also similar.
Beside that, I don't know. We can share some activities. I would be more that grateful to see around and anything.
