About Me

Hi there, I am an open minded, curios and ambitious student, originally from Bucharest, Romania, working on my bachelor degree in the Netherlands. I am really interested in discovering new things. These things include activities, cultures, people and whatever might catch my interest at some point. I truly believe that if you have comedy and good company there are no reasons to worry in this life. I try to laugh as much as I can, always having a smile on my face. Travelling is the best way to practice this,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to get in touch with a new place or a new culture is by spending time with local people. What better way to do so than sharing the same house with them? If you stay at a hotel you might be unaware of a lot of aspects that you would get only if you would live with a local in the local way, of course. This is why I am using couch surf, so I can explore the world alongside with people from everywhere I am going to. This is the beauty of traveling after all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to this hippie place on the Romanian sea side (Vama Veche) to celebrate of my friend's birthday. We were all staying in tents in this camping place and had the guitars with us to play. At some point we met another group from a different city that had a band together. We all joined our forces and went to play several Romanian popular songs, especially folk songs, on the main street of the place and it turned out to be a great show. A bunch of people gathered and an amazing atmosphere was created. We made new friends and after we played all that we could possibly play we danced on the beach all night. It was trully outstanding!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my guitar skills and I can cook a really nice fried rice or chicken dish (depending on what is available) which I would gladly make if requested. And of course, we can grab a drink together and share good times.
