About Me

Hi everybody. My name is Andrei and I am a 23 y.o. guy who are currently living in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe: Lisbon. I am from São Paulo, Brazil, and I will return to my hometown in July. I study International Relations and I am deeply interested in such subjects like culture, traveling, different places and so on. I am also considered an easy going person who tries to make everything around fine for other person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To live the cultural exchange promoted by people traveling and meeting around. The best way to know a place is to live like an original citizen. Also to meet new and interesting people and maybe make friends around the world.

Interests

I like subjects like travel, culture, geography, history, etc. but I am also very interested in movies, music and sports. You will get me if you know some about football or like classic rock, mainly Pink Floyd.
I also addicted on internet and stuff, but I promise I am trying to fix it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love Pink Floyd but also other classic rock bands as Queen, Beatles and Dire Straits. AC/DC is not bad also! I don't have a favorite song, my preferences come and go.

Movies: The Replacements, with Keanu Reeves. It is not artistical, it is not a blockbuster and it is not french, but tell a good story about hard work and how to overcome barriers to succeed.

Books: I have not read many books in the last years as I have lectures enough because of my studies. I would say Harry Potter, the first book I read from beginning to the end. In the collection, my favorite one is the last. I also love Agatha Christie and Hercule Poirot. As the books are short, it is mainly what I have reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2013 I went to the most incredible students meeting on Earth: ISFiT.
The International Students Festival in Trondheim is realized in Norway each two years. There I made friends from all around the world, from Costa Rica to New Zealand, passing to Eritrea and Cambodia. Seeing their points of view and change experiences and culture was fantastic. Also I have to struggle against a -17ºC temperature and play in the snow.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not good on teaching, but I can try some portuguese. Currently I share my knowledge with my italian roommate in Portugal.

What I Can Share with Hosts
