Hello! I'm from the wonderful Republic of Moldova, a small but charming country in Eastern Europe. I had the privilege of being born in a remarkable place, Old Orhei, known for its breathtaking landscapes and remarkable geological formations. I believe my love for adventure and travel stems from this amazing location.

Since the age of 18, I've been passionate about orienteering, this is sport about running with map and compass. For me, orienteering is not just a sport but also a way of life. I can't imagine embarking on a journey to a new country without participating in an orienteering competition.

I'm an extremely curious person and always eager to discover new places on this wonderful planet (especially where I can also find orienteering competitions) and to meet people in real life, without spending too much time in online conversations.

Because I participate in many competitions throughout the year, I've learned to live more minimally, with only the essentials. For example, from April 24th to June 3rd, 2024, I will be competing in 6 countries: Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, and again Italy. The entire journey will be with just one small backpack :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) In July 2023, I married my wonderful wife Ana. In August 2023, we embarked on a European road trip for our honeymoon: from Moldova to Belgium, then from Belgium to Montenegro. From Montenegro, we returned home. It was an exceptional journey.

2) In 2024, for two months (January and February), Ana and I stayed in Turkey: we wanted to escape the gloomy weather in Moldova to avoid falling into depression. In Turkey, we visited four locations: Alanya, Antalya, Kemer, and Marmaris. During these two months, we got up close and personal with Turkish culture. We enjoyed the experience a lot, and we're already planning to go there this winter. Either way, our job in outdoor activities is only during the summer. And in winter, we are free.
