About Me

UPDATE 2023: Hi Everyone! I have a comfy couch that I can offer in the Living Room!

I have been on couchsurfing for a few years now. I have mostly just hosted people but I have also surfed a few times. I love to travel and above all I like to meet new people and thats is why I love Couchsurfing.

What to write about myself??

I am very interested in philosophy, the outdoors, traveling and languages. I love to have conversations about all these topics and maybe to get my perspective changed on a few subjects.

I also like to read, go cycling, wine tasting, cook, hike and doing a road trip through the lowveld, Kruger Park and Blyde River Canyon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The whole idea of couchsurfung is really amazing for me. I don't think there is a better platform to get to know people who most of the time have the same idea of traveling as I do. The thing is that you immerse yourself into a new, fun and safe enviroment.

I am definitely not someone who just want a coach or just a place to stay for free. The reason I am on couchsurfing is to meet and get to know people and to share some travel experience .

Interests

I Love cooking, I also like to cook traditional or typical South African food. I like cycling reading and cooking. I also love the part of the country I live in and I like to share it with people. Especially the places of the beaten track.

I also have a motorbike that I like to ride on my days off just to relax.

I belong to a whisky club and Wine Guild and we do a tasting once a month. We learn about new wines and whiskies, it is very interesting.

I also take french lessons once a week.

I love languages.
