Overview
About Me
I'm a history PhD student in Brooklyn, and I teach European and World History here. I love what I do!
I'm on couchsurfing to welcome people to Brooklyn and the City. I work full-time but I love to host during the summer and share my favorite places with people passing through. I speak French, some Spanish and Portuguese, and a little bit of German and Yiddish.
I play the banjo and love music and movies and I'm a massive soccer (football) fan, will talk for hours about all of these things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Like everyone, I like too many things to list here, chances are we'll make good conversation!
I'm a massive nerd, got lots of interests and things I love.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Idk about amazing but hiking the Calanques in Marseille was probably the most incredible experience I've had.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know food, parks, bars, and museums pretty well. Clubs and shows n stuff aren't so much my wheelhouse.
I can show you around the city and some of its lesser known corners, especially the pretty parts. If you want to know where to eat, I am a walking encyclopedia of recommendations.
I'm more interested in what I don't know than what I do.
What I Can Share with Hosts
a good conversation and a drink!
