Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was hosted in South Africa, in 2012, and my host came to visit me in Paris a few months later, with 2 women from Scandinavia. It was great.

Interests

My significant other says : what do you like doing in life ? Work, work ! No that's not true. Or only partially.... In fact, I like travelling, and various adrenaline sports : kitesurfing, windsurfing, ski mounteneering, kayaking, bike riding... Except I am 66, and I am having more and more problems keeping up with my own expectations...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 1983, after 2 years in Cambridge, Massaschusetts, I bought a VW bus, and took a 4 months trip around the States, with a kayak and a bike on the roof rack.
In 1999, I bought a 37 foot sail boat and took a 2 years leave, crossing the Atlantic : no big deal !
or, a very close encounter with another paraglider, a 150 meters fall, and an amazing survival.

It may sound stupid, but I am an Excel specialist. And I love to teach it to people !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a lot of guests all year round, and my house is pretty full most of the time. So I may have problem hosting couch surfers sometimes.
