About Me

It`s been forever since I last used CS (probably 2016/2017).

After almost 10 years of working on cruise ships all over the World, I am now focused on completely visiting the 7 Wonders of the World (missing Taj Mahal) and spending some time in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam).

I still have one year left before I graduate in International Relations, so meeting people from different cultures is always a great opportunity to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people, make friends, share experiences, and have a safe place to stay while traveling.

Interests

Looking forward to explore the Temples, street food, beaches and learn about Thai life.
I am also excited to expand my photography skills.

Music, Movies, and Books

It`s hard to choose one favorite music, but the artists I listen to the most are Joji, The Blaze, Post Malone, Enter Shikari, August Burns Red, and lots of classics like Outkast, System Of A Down, Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack, and many more.

Movies are even harder to choose. Babel, La Mala Educacion, Babylon, Unbroken, Mystic River, The Mule, Gran Torino, Hunger, Your Name Engraved Herein, Eternal Summer, El Secreto del Rio, Lion and many more.

Books are easier to choose from: A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Kite Runner, The Book Thief, Papillon, and Banco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossing Russia from Moscow to Ulan-Ude, then visiting Mongolia and ending in Beijing for a quick visit to the Great Wall.

Recently, the most challenging and incredible things I`ve done were hikes at a very high altitude (The Atacama Desert and Cusco/Machu Picchu).
I am used to living at sea level, so hiking over 3000 meters above sea level is quite an adventure for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not a “Master Chef” but I will do my best to show some skills at the kitchen preparing some basic Brazilian food :)

I can teach some Portuguese and Spanish.

It sounds crazy but I never learned how to drive, not even bicycle haha

What I Can Share with Hosts

My 10+ years of traveling around the World have made me accumulate thousands stories to share, including the Pandemic times when I stayed for 11 months at sea on a cruise ship :)
