ABOUT ME
I am Andre, 27 years, student, from Germany. Some basics ;)
I am an easy going person, laid back. I like making fun and jokes a lot but also serious talks. Humor is a big and important thing for me.
After studying abroad last year, I decided to see as much as I can of the world before I am going to start my work-life.

PHILOSOPHY
have a lot of fun and enjoy my life. But I also like hanging around and enjoying the moment.
__
I try to take my working-career-life not too serious. But I think I am doing well more or less ;) However there are definitly more important things in one life to care about. At the end it will work out, mostly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am kind of new in Couchsurfing, so I will try to do the activ part first, like finding couches to stay, but once I am back to Germany, I will be a host for others to help out and share life's experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
so far: just good experience. However I have too little average experience to judge.
Interests
friends, hanging around, hanging out, surfing, bike riding, outdoor activities, walking around, sightseeing, festivals, humor, movies, music ... I like to cook good (?!) food. I am very open minded to a lot of things and can get along with it. I like traveling and exploring new cultures. More now than ever.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to electronic music as well as to indie rock music. I like trumpet sounds a lot. I can nearly go with every genre of music... but I have my favourites ;) I also like music of these guys: Dire Straits or Tom Petty.. old stuff.
Sometimes I just need an action movie. Just action. Not thinking about the movie to much. But then I also like movies that you have to watch at least twice to get them. It depends on my mood I would say.
The book I am working on right now is "the catcher in the rye".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw a lot of things, but to give a good example from now and what really impressed me was when we went hiking to the so called "curtain falls" in California. Frist we had to hike one hour down the mountain to the creek. And then, the most exciting part, we wanna to see the falls. The way to get there was not easy. We had to climb over big rocks going through water and at least, you had to swim to get there. It's definetly not the biggest waterfall, but the whole adventurous trip to this place, the nature, the surroundings and everything around was amazing! We were a small group, and I really enjoyed having one special guest with us. A man in his 60s. He did all this with us and got some scratches. He said something like this: "I had to do this,I was inspired by you guys... YOLO" Listening to this man, using the word YOLO was fun. And he used it in a fun way. Great humor with a little bit of truth in it.
