I am, an Indonesian, living in Taiwan since 2009, so I am familiar with Taiwan in many aspects. I speak English as well as Indonesian my native language. 我也會講國語. Feel free to drop message for host enquery or ask recommendation place, local food, local transportation (u-bike, bus, MRT, train, HSR, boat, rent motorcycle) in Taiwan. My nightlife is visiting night market, watching movie, dinner with friend, running, or staying at home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Make new friends by hosting or surfing. Meet host or traveler when I am traveling. Listen travel or CS stories from the surfer. I love how this platform connects people from around the world. I also feel good when I could help traveler.

Interests

I like visiting night markets and eat street food, and these are my favorite night market in Taipei: Tonghua, Shilin, Raohe, and Ningxia. Short hiking to small mountain/hill nearby (Fuzhousan, Neihu, Elephant Mt, Yangming Mt) to capture photo of nature as well as city panoramic. If I have time, I also bring people to old-street, historical place, museum, hot spring, etc.

I love aviation industry and I have small collection aircraft models in my home. I also collect the Starbucks tumbler from many cities that I've been visited.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Pop, Soul, Deep House/UK garage. I also make a song playlist which gathered from the traveler or surfer who stay in my home.
Movie: Action and science fiction movie are the best.
Book: I don't read book much haha, but I always read and update news, so we could discuss any recent news.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skiing in Gala Yuzawa, Japan.
Visited Japan Airlines Headquarter in Tokyo.
Passed for car driving license test in Taiwan.
Worked in small island, Ambon, in eastern part of Indonesia for a cable stayed bridge project, which is the longest bridge in the region.
Host surfers from some countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: English, Chinese, and of course my native Indonesian.

Learn: I am fascinated learning Asian culture and history especially Japan and Korea. Besides, I also want to learn taking portrait picture, any photographer in CS please do contact me!
