About Me

[Sorry guys, I won't be able to host you in Lima, I am currently in Australia]

I consider myself quite easy going, chill and adventurous. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories, that's also a reason I studied journalism. At the same time, I find relaxing and having fun an essential part of my personality. Activities like exercising, dancing, singing, meeting with friends, going to the beach, partying, having a drink, or just reading a book sound good to me, but I'm also very into learning new things like knowledge and abilities.

When travelling, visiting historical places and museums is just as exciting as going to a local park and resting under some tree's shadow, the same for prepping a nice meal at home and going out to try a new local dish. I'm very flexible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to meet new people, communities, landscapes, experiences, and the only way is by travelling. I do love travelling, and I've been quite lucky to get to know some places in Peru and abroad. But CS has given me something I never expected to do from home: good foreign long-term friendships, who enlightened my home and my heart every single time they visited, and I visited, and a sense of being able to choose my own destiny. I'm more than grateful for the experiences I've already had, and I plan to continue this route.

I left Peru now to visit Australia with a Working Holiday visa looking for a different life than what I had back there, new opportunities, and, if I'm lucky, to reinvent myself. I'd love to learn and get familiar with the Oz ways, how to do things right like finding a job or doing your taxes, the diverse cultures and customs, and enjoy what this marvellous country and its people have to offer while, of course, at the same time giving back in all the possible ways.

Music, Movies, and Books

It depends on the genre, but almost everything will be just fine. If I may choose, maybe pop or indie pop would be alright, I enjoy relaxing music most of the time, but I'm very open. Favourite artists: Ariana Grande, Adele, Lady Gaga, Metric, Jorge Drexler, Sara Bareilles, Stevie Nicks, Beyoncé, Mac Miller, Julieta Venegas, Boraj or River Tiber, classical, electronic, and Brazilian music of course.

Horror and science fiction films are cool. House of the Dragon, The Last of Us... UFOs related 🛸

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some friends and I held a Memory and Human Rights Week at my university 📝
I've lived for a month and a half working with the indigenous communities of the Amazon part of Peru 🌳
I had my first photography session in Zipolite, a Mexican nudist beach. It felt so liberating 😊

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more about whatever you know that could be useful for me in Australia.
I can teach you English, Spanish, photography, computer stuff...

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are a cook, you have a great diner here, if you are a psychologist, you have a great patient here, if you are a teacher, you have... Just kidding. I like cooking a Peruvian dish to highlight why we have one of the best foods in the world.

Countries I’ve Visited
