Music, Movies, and Books

I like Indie Rock; Latin jazz; some folk and experimental music. One of my favorite bands is Mutemath and also The Cinematic Orchestra.
As for movies, my favorite genres are drama and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the past fourteen years I have traveled to fourteen countries. One of my most memorable moments was visiting a remote village in the border of China and Vietnam. I was part of the first group of mourners invited by the people's Republic of China to meet an ancient community called the Back Swans. This unforgettable experience has been a highlight of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a photographer, I love teaching people how to capture great images, how to appreciate the light, shadows; contrast and composition. I often find myself just teaching people how to capture real moments even with their mobile phones. I'm a big fan of iphoneography.
I', also very open to learning from people's experiences and the cultural differences that can surely enrich life.
I love sharing my stories of traveling around the world and working on projects with indigenous and minority groups from Asia, Central, and South America.
